Hey guys n gals, title says it all i guess, I want to field a Vamp on a Abyssal Terror but the GW model looks really naff!! Any one have any ideas about other models i could proxy / cobble together to make one?

I'am bit stuck as what to use / how to do it O_o

Bubber: if shipping is stupidly high then why not order alongside someone else?

Also, the nightmare tends to be the best ive seen so far.
Alot of other models look too thin and weedy, or just plain dumb.

I got the wings from the great spined dragon somewhere too (big wings, no membrane).

I think size is difficult for those, and the risk is the price run high if you kitbash.
Perhaps you could do something with the LotR winged nazgul, its plastic but pricey compared to the gw winged nightmare. Also, LotR stuff is slightly smaller than WH so the size might fit.

Really like that nightmare on the trollforged website!! looks awesome (thanks @poipo32) & that Typhon model on privateer press (ta! @Fayric) hmm ... food for thought!!

I also looked at the mantic one (thnx @bubber) tho the vamp kinda puts me off getting it but it would be cheap as chips to sort

@ Jack , thanks for the rat / wings too, that could look quite awesome with a bit of greenstuff work/wings.
