Grab a partner and practice some co-ordinated Mayhem!
This event will take place in the gaming bunker run by Showcase Comics in Granite Run, Media PA. (Philadelphia).
-Each team will field two 1850 pt. armies. Each player will have a separate army, separate force organization, and special rules for each army will only apply to that army.
-All models must be WYSIWYG. No proxies. (Conversions are fine, and some 'counts as' units are fine. If you have a question about this, email Mike Clark. Pictures help.)
-Models do not have to be painted. But leniancy on painting doesn't mean you'll be allowed to slide on WYSIWYG. Fix broken weapons, make sure you have complete models.
-Scoring will be based on battles (20pts per game) and painting/modeling (10pts).
-Games will be played on 8'x4' tables. Scenery will be 20-25% on most tables.
-Game length will be 2 hours and 45 minutes per game.
-As usual, expect some sort of edible conconction produced by Mike for the lunch break, and a trip to Ruby Tuesdays after the last battle!
Cost is 30.00 per team. Lunch is included in the cost.
Got questions? Call Mike Clark at Showcase Comics at 610-891-9229, or email at MikenJudyc@aol.com.

Sounds cool!
I would guess you've done them before, but would you consider a 1k per person team tournament using the same or a similar structure to adepticon's (only 2 man teams, as that's easier)? I'd love to have another event at which to get quality practice for that.

I will definitely run one of those before adepticon. This one is using the higher points value so folks can get in some practice for the NEWCC, and for us to make sure a pairs game at that level works ok.

Until you find out the freight elevator in the mall is only 7' long!
We had room in our 24' truck we took to Games Day, and GW had some of the open gaming tables they were going to get rid of and make new ones. They crated up and gave us 6 of them. We get them back to the mall, have to take the crates off as we unload them to fit them in the elevator diagonally, and the thunderstorm hits!
We eventually them, the big displays, and Red Oktober down to the bunker, but I cursed whoever built that midget freight elevator.

Amended the schedule slightly. Going with a full 3 hours for games. If folks finish early, it's a longer break, but gives a bit more time to move that many models around.
