Hey guys, I moved to Japan about 5 months ago and just tried spraying some models with GW white primer for the first time since I got here. As I suspected the humidity has given them an awful chalky texture. So I was wondering if anyone who lives in Japan knows what the best product would be for stripping models (metal, plastic and green) that you can get out here would be. I spent a while converting them so would, ideally, like to save them from their grainy doom.
Also does anyone have any advice for more reliable, white primers that might fare better in high humidity levels? It's crazy over here at the moment!

Hey,

I have found break fluid to be very good on plastics (on resin it worked on Mary Bones but melted Pythrone and FW techpriest very sad day )

I have also found that GW spray is quite powdery/chalky but I painted over it and found I quite liked the surface to paint on.

Good luck

Peter.

Hi!

I'm in Japan and who suffer humidity climate when priming.

Try use air conditioner and let room dry.
Then run the fan in kitchen & prime miniature there in box or something.
I do prime like that when humid.

I heard break fluid is good but I never tried stripping the paint.
