Was at breaking point trying to get a KoS done and in the end, it turned out as a lump of paint (well, not that bad) so i decided to start over.

In my random thinking i grabbed some nail-varnish remover from the other half.
Now, it worked fine with a quick scrub, but was it ok?
Wanted to check to make sure it can still be painted afterwards (given it a soak in water to clean off the stuff)

Didnt want to go through all that and not be able to paint it again. (should have checked 1st, but was pissed that 20 hours work ended up pointless)

I did this with my Metal Daemon Prince, and it worked great actually, better than i expected. After i stripped it, i let is simmer in warm water for about 15 mins, reassembled it, and painted again. no problems what so ever.

Thanks stasis
I simply sat down and brushed away at it with the remover until the paint was gone (40 mins work or so)
So stripping it is fine.

Thanks for the heads up on the plastics, was about to dunk a few skinks, so ill give that a miss for now.

I take it then its fine to paint over if i wash it off?
Didnt want to to have any effect on the model that would stop me re-painting it.

as long as you soak them in warm water after stripping, (to get rid of the impurities) you can paint them with no problems. And sorry, i had edited my post, Acetone Free nail polish remover is what you need for plastics, but test it out on a piece of sprue, some acetone free nail polish removers can still make your plastic minis into plaguebearers
