How do I post a picture on the forums?

When you post a new topic or reply you type out your message then above the box tht you typed the message in there is a button that says image. After you hit that copy, paste the link in there and hit image again so that way it ends the image tag. Then preview your post to make sure it looks correct. Hope this helps!

Continuing what V9 has just said, if you've uploaded it to Dakka (wargaming pics only), find your image on their servers, select your size (the largest one isn't ideal for threads) copy the appropriate code below that to where you want to put your picture, and your done! No tags needed (cause legoburner is just awesome)!

Why does the image thing only work about half the time? There is only a box with a question mark where the image should be.

Depends on your hosting. Some won't allow hotlinks, or you have the wrong link.

If you're linking to pictures hosted on other sites, then as explained, some sites don't allow hotlinking of their images, so they won't show up on other sites when you try to link to them.

If a picture hosted here on Dakka (in the gallery) isn't working when you link to it, then please post an example here in this thread and we'll get it sorted out.
