At our FLGS we're having a fifteen point 1,1,1,1 tournament (one caster, one warjack, one unit, one solo). I'm not looking for a list but I would be interested in what you could come up with for this format.

In general I'm not a fan of Terminus in this format. At most 1 unit and solo for souls is a little light and if he's running the deathjack that leaves him with very few sac pawns making Eiryss a serious problem. Not terrible, just not getting the most out of the caster. The pDenny army looks solid, if a little light on bodies. Stealthed Nightmare alone should take care of half your games for you.

George: are they using the no-cav rules? There is also a variant that alows for a light WB to be swapped for a solo (to ungimp the Fury mechanic).

My 2 cents:

Very squishy, and reliant on the Nemo jack-bullet but fairly versatile as well IMHO. Nemo is effectively 8 focus. ATGM to clear a path (and backup anti-stealth, 20" threat at RAT8), Stormclad has a 13" melee threat range. 5 focus+Disruption Field is pretty much a death sentance for any heavy short of the Devestator.

I've also been toying with Sloan, as her weaponmaster shooting with Rienhold is crazy at such low values, but it is hard to shoehorn in a unit that she likes to work with.

As far as I know cavalry is an option. I think we may do the light beast/solo swapout.

Banes and Tart are the ground pounder upfront unit/solo.
Goreshade keeps stealthed and away from stealth ignoring stuff.
Reaper tries to screen Goreshade.

Reaper can commit pretty far up and Goreshade can use his feat to get the models needed to Soul Gate the Reaper back out of harms way if need be.

Else, Goreshade and screening Reaper can walk up and hopefully pull a eGaspy and throw some Bane Thalls in someones' face.

ecaine should have no trouble getting line of sight in a game this small and rowdy can charge and tremor for free at mat 8 for a mean surprise on the feat turn.

With Lylyth's upkeep spell everything in the list has stealth except for the Raptors, whose mobility should be able to protect them. Getting plinked to death while a giant invisible Carnivean acts as a countercharge deterrent isn't fun.

Hmmm, It only generates 3/4 Fury a turn. Anything that can survive the counter charge or avoid the missile fire will eat this alive.

Keep Snipe on the Mule (range 12"/16) and Blur on the Nyss Hunters (Def 18 in the open vs. shooting & magic). If you can see it, shoot it.

Well, this has proved to do well in the past. Attrition is really powerful in this format. and nothing says attrition like the Testament.
So:

I beleive this comes into less than 15, don't have my book with me.

Errants always shine. With Quickwork, they tear infantry to shreds. With Ignite, they can easily wreck a 'Jack. Self-sacrifice to deny all sorts of nasty abilities and tarpit at the same time, Spell Ward, magic crossbows for Pistolwraiths, and Pathfinder. They do it all.

Reckoner gives solid anti-heavy and flare makes it an ideal assassination machine.

Engine of Destruction makes Feroa a, well, an engine of destuction. 11.5" threat range with two MAT 10 P+S 17 blades. Two auto-fire sprays take care of any infantry that manage to make it through the Errants. Her feat works well against infantry but is best against the enemy caster as it effectively ignores focus overboosting.

A little illegal unless the Harbinger only has 2 Jack points.

Harbinger cannot spend her jack points on the Avatar as it is not in her battlegroup.

Hence the hamstringing.

And like I was saying, playing more than 2 pts under is illegal in most events, so unless she only has 2 jacks points you'll get DQed

Jack points don't count toward tournament point level requirements. If you choose to not use them, it is completely legal. You are never compelled to use jack/beast points.

15 points spent is 15 points spent. If you opt to not use your other 4-6 bonus points, that is completely up to you.

Not if you read the SR2010 tournament requirements. You can be under by 2pts of the tournament point level. Anything more is an autoDQ.

The jack/beast points count for this.
