Okay so inspired by the cathayan lizardmen of a few posts back I decided to finally put a theme to my lizardmen, that of fire.

So Far I can think of a few things to do to alter what I already have to this end but I need some help. First what I have already thought of.

Slann- Painted and modeled as a fire belly toad
Saurus-Green stuff Flaming swords and add the arms to what are now spear saurus
Salamanders- Add these
Remaining skinks- Paint red

any additional ideas would be great. Thanks for the help

For painting wise:

Scales: Black basecoat, space wolves grey highlights, badab wash.

Skin: black basecoat, foundation red coat, highlight blood red, fine highlight blazing orange.

Should give you a nice fiery colour scheme for the army.

sadly My saurus are already painted but it sounds like an idea for later if I do decide to replace them.

If you paint them up with good yellows, that's the color for the mark of Chotec, the Lizardman Sun God.
