I'm looking to trade my Necron Army straight up for a Tau or Dark Eldar army. I'm not looking to trade points for points, but a 3000+ pt army would be fair (if painted to a high table top quality).

As far as selling the army - I'm looking to get $400+shipping (firm).

Note: some figures have blue rods, green rods and red rods. Excellent mod that really adds some flavor to the armies appearance.

NOTE: Destroyers and Heavy Destroyers have magnetized bases. One magnet was mounted to the top of the flying post, and one was placed on the bottom of the Destroyer body. They hold strong, and allow you to easily move the figures around without having the posts fall out. You can also tip the figures over on their sides to show a figure that was killed, but available for WBB rolls. The magnet holds the figure to the side, and is very handy.

That's my trade thread. I have a bunch of DE stuff.

I would like your Deceiver and your 10 scarabs. Here's my justification for you breaking up your army a tad bit:

1. There are few necron players. Even fewer necron players that use C'tans. The chances of you finding someone who wants to pick up the worst army in 40k and trade it out for the next upcoming codex is probably slim. I just started Necrons, but I'm weird - I did it *because* they're the worst codex in 40k, and I was looking for a challenge with them - my 'Crons are undefeated to date.

2. For those looking to acquire a necron army, Fast attack choices are precious - you only have 3 FA choices, and people need to choose between destroyers, wraiths, and scarabs. You have a destroyer army. The "tradeability" of your army will increase as its model count narrows down to a usable list. Neither the Nightbringer nor Deceiver will likely see gametime in a Destroyer army (the most popular kind), and scarabs don't get field time when a destroyer army takes the field. If you trade them to me, you'll be increasing your ability to drop the rest of the army.

3. I have raiders for trade. At 1850 points, you can put 14 vehicles on the table (11 raiders and 3 ravagers). That's almost 500 bucks worth of vehicles before you even get to what goes in them. You're going to come up short. =p

Those are the two things I *really* want out of your list. I would also take your codex (I don't have one), and your immortals (simply to save myself having to build them out of warriors), but that would take negotiation.

One of my local friends wants to start Necrons - he has none and no Dark Eldar, meaning that we might have quite the trade potential - I'd hook him up with a bunch more of your Necrons.

My list did not include C'Tans, Wraiths or Scarabs. Barely used Monoliths either.

Focused on T5 figures, with good range and good mobility. The T5 allowed me to avoid instant death against most armies, therefore allowing me to always retain my 'WBB' roll, unless I was assaulted of course and hit with power weapons. But - as I look at it, if the Destroyers were assaulted, I did something wrong.

15 Destroyers
3 or 6 Heavy Destroyers
5 or 10 Immortals
20 or 40 Warriors
And then a Necron lord to round it all out.

Lots of firepower, great toughness, and the mobility to get in to my opponents weak position and exploit it.

As far as 'the worst codex' in the game. I'll argue that one from sun up to sun down. I've had NO problems against Tau, Orks, DE's, and even SM's. A person needs to remember - it is NOT the army that wins the game. It is the general that wins the game. Any codex is capable of winning, but not every player.

I understand your willingness to trade, but telling someone their army is terrible and it will never get traded is not a way to convince me to do MORE trades with you. I'm not at a MUST trade situation. I was looking to see if anyone was interested.

With that said - I'm NOT breaking up the army.

Your call - I wasn't telling you that you must trade with me....I was offering you the ability to focus your trading power.

I also mentioned at the bottom that I'd be interested in trying for a full or mostly full trade. =p
