Are those funny colour bands in the green your paint job, or the camera/lighting setup, or the compresion of the image? It looks wierd to me. I love the detail on the ropes, eagles and window shading. Keep up the good work, magnitizing is the way to go. I've got my pred set up so its magnitized to have all turret barrels, side guns, rhino, razor, and demolisher rigs. I'm never buying any of the other space marine tank kits again. The flexibility of the parts in the pred kit lets you make the rest so easily with magnets.

I do love a good salamander scheme. Green just lends itself so well to extreme highlights.

Either way...its it look that makes it unique and great to look at.....it has a near green chrome look to it.

I have to agree. One of the more unique paint jobs I've seen in all my years of lurking on all of the painting forums.

I think he was layering (is that the right term?) The bands, to me, look very deliberate.

I honestly think from a tabletop perspective it will look nice and clean. I think the plate the barrel of each main gun is attached to and the barrels themselves are the only obvious sections that show the layers.

Well, it looks closer to AV13 then a normal rhino front or at least that was the plan.

It´s the paintjob, the camera exaggerates it somewhat but the bands are slightly visible with the naked eye too. I just didnt have the time over to paint even more layers so they wouldnt show.
I mean there are 8 layers already used and I wanted a large contrast between light and dark for a nice effect so this is what I got.
Should I put another 15 hours on this the layers wouldnt be so visible but it´s "only" a predator right?
