Hi peeps i gotta question

Where can i get the pink foam stuff that is frequently shown in white dwarf and other places to build warhammer terrain and the like( for example WD369 page 49)

go to buiders merchant and ask for high density
insulation foam

As others have said what you're after is high density insulation foam, as well as the pink stuff I've also encountered blue and orange versions but it all appears to be the same.

In addition to builders merchants, check the likes of B&Q, Focus and Homebase the large stores should stock it.

good question id like to find the pink stuff as well but what i use is something called ecotherm or celatex (it comes under other names as well but cant rember them at the mo)
its sold in builders merchants as insulation only proplem with it is its covered on both sides with a silver foil, its a condensed foam that can be cut and sanded and painted.
it comes in 8ftX4ft sheets in thicknesses 1inch 2inch 3inch 4inch and ithink 6inch

its not badly priced but its even better if you pop n to your local builders mechants and ask if they got any damaged sheets going cheap
