I read somewhere that over 212 different types of Warriors have been encountered,
what do you guys think of this one?
Spine Fist Warrior Brood:
All warriors in the brood may exchange their scything talons and devourers for 2 sets of spine fists for free.
For the purposes of firing they are treated as a single weapon with the following profile
Range: 12"
Str: 3
Ap: 5
Type: Assault X2, Twin Linked
would you play against them?

This doesn't exactly make them killy. Or worthwhile. Maybe this would be the really basic warrior?

I'd like to keep them at 30pts
Weak vs. power armor
Strong vs. light infantry
I don't think its an overpowered unit
it would look pretty cool
I was considering boosting their killing power by giving them 2 sets of poisoned spine fists
Double Poisoned Spine Fists
Range: 12"
Strength: X (poisoned 4+)
AP: 5
Type: assault X2, Twin Linked
Note: use the host creatures strength when determining poison re-rolls and strength vs vehicles
+5pts? +10pts?
I think its getting abit overpowered like this (still wont do much to our power armored friends tho)
If termagants had poisoned spine fists, people might actually use them.
What do you think?

The newer editions of the tyranid codex did away with the Assault X, 2X or 3X. Now it's just assault 3. I'm assuming you want the following profile:
Range: 12"
Str: 3
Ap: 5
Type: Assault 6 (equivalent to Assault 2X), Twin Linked
That would then make it a very dangerous gun indeed but due to the range and strength, you can keep the costs the same. Poisoned spine fists can be +5pts each. However, you should not get re-rolls with them and I believe the appropriate term for a "poisoned gun" is a "sniper gun."
