Nanomachines inside their bodies enhance and regulate their abilities. Genetic control. Information control. Emotion control. Battlefield control. Everything is monitored, and kept under control. Core has changed. The age of deterrence has become the age of control. All in the name of averting catastrophe from weapons of mass destruction. And he who controls the battlefield, controls history. Core has changed. When the battlefield is under total control, war... becomes routine.

I like a lot of different aspects of various races, but as for a favorite prolly Guard. Nothing says "good morning" like a salvo from an artillery regiment.

I loved the story about the orks that went to fight daemons though. I like the Wolf imagery, the Protestant Reformation imagery of the Dark Angels, ideals of the Salamanders.

Non-human I'd have to say Tau due to the Americana influences (new guy on the block, idealistic, high tech) though I do dislike the socialistic and mindwashing aspect of it.

Orks

Every time I hear "in my opinion" or "just my opinion" makes me want to strangle a puppy. People use their opinions as a shield that other poeple can't critisize and that is bs.

If you can't defend or won't defend your opinion then that "opinion" is bs. Stop trying to tip-toe and defend what you believe in.
