Hey guys,

Obviously these images weren't exactly created by the finest examples of human technology... I used a PS2 eyetoy camera and cameroid.com to process these, so some of the images are back-to-front (the Tacs look particularly confusing)... The lighting is especially poor because all I had was one stupidly bright desk lamp, ideally you'd want two lights on either side of the model and no reflective surface beneath them... unfortunately neither was the case with me but I hope y'all enjoy what I've got here.

I'll start with some bog-standard and purdy Tac Marines, as I said above... it's a tad confusing thanks to my lazy inability to reverse all of my images:

Here's one of my three Company Masters/Commanders (depends on which Codex I feel like using) equipped with Lighting Claws... the only real conversions on this guy are the pretty poor greenstuff flag (hey, it was a first ) over his shoulder and the bleached robe... His banner is blank because I am scared to try paint it since his helmet's in the way, I really should have painted it BEFORE sticking it on but baaaah. I will say now that this is one of the back-to-front sets of images:

Second up is a conversion I did spam a little bit a while ago but got no comments on, so I thought I'd try my luck and throw it in again. This is a Librarian conversion intended to stand in as Ezekiel if necessary (hence the banner). He was made from the standard cut-up shoulderpad idea for the psychic hood (with green stuff filler), an old bald marine head and the two-handed sword from the Vanguard Veteran metal boxset, though I hacked off the left shoulder and replaced it with a plastic one so that there would be no Crux Terminatus. The body is a standard DA robed one:

Here's a Deathwing Terminator... I have a pretty good-looking Sergeant but I shan't be showing any pics of him until my Belial conversion is done For now, bar the Sergeant, this is my only painted Deathwing figure:

Now onto the vehicles...

This is one of my three Rhinos, currently two are "complete" but one is missing some iconography so I've only taken pictures of this one, I'm proud of the interior and the model in general but there are some problems... observe the black tracks and the lack of weathering or any advanced vehicle-painting techniques (vehicles are probably my weakest area). Also, the rubbish camera doesn't help... My sister did take some rather lurvly pics on her decent one but deleted them because she assumed she'd e-mailed me them... d'oh:

And last but not least, the major "WIP" of this thread... this Land Raider has sucked up sixteen hours of my time and is still nowhere near done, you'll notice that the tracks, purity seals, little windows on the cupola, antennae, smoke launchers, side sponson doors, lower engine and more are unfinished... I'm posting this for some encouragement to be honest as it's probably the most depressing model I've painted ever: The Bleached bone is inconsistent and impossible to get a decent finish on, my spraygun clogged up a bit because my paint was too thick and, as one of my friends put it, "it looks like one of those walls a local council lets all the kids graffiti on"; I guess it is a bit clustered Ah well, here's my mural on tracks:

Thanks for viewing these, I hope to get better-quality images up soon enough... I don't think either the Land Raider or the rhino came out that well and the Commander is DEFINITELY too bright in these pics.

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Persuaded my sis to take some high-res images of the Sergeant from the pictured tac squad:

Excellent freehand the rest is great, although some of the mould lines could use some tidying up.

Shots may be a bit wonky, but beyond the grainyness you have some really solid looking work

Looking forward to seeing some clearer pics, these are looking good.

The Land Raider ended up with Freehand to cover up glue damage and some awful paint consistency problems due to the aforementioned spraygun clogging xD

And you're right, I don't clean mould lines... not sure why, effort I guess :-/ Don't know how you'd go about that on painted models?

You cant on painted models without repainting in most cases :(

Best to just use a hobby knife during assemble and scrape off the worst ones.

Google "using an eyetoy as a web camera".

You have a choice between downloading a Logitech driver or some other one; then you just use it with some picture-taking software. The PS2 doesn't come into it, it's just hardware intended for that console

cool, i didn't realize you could use it on a pc also. i always figured it was ONLY for the ps2.

It's USB, with the right drivers why wouldn't it work?
