I want to create a war altar of Manan, God of the sea, for my upcoming army but have been stumped in finding a suitable representation of the briny dude.

Anyone got any suggestions?

This wouldn't be Marienburg themed would it?

What about this chap? He's from the WoW CMG but you'd probably be able to find the single somewhere.

In the absence of any decent ideas how about a water elemental?

The old GW on is still available;

A Rackham one

Obviously real world comparisons to look for would be Neptune and Poseidon minis

Chiltern do some Greek (and Norse Gods), but they are 28mm.

Other than that I think you might be looking at buying a small statue?

taban miniatures has a model named Neptune the Sea Lord that might fit the bill perfectly, though they seem to be out of stock of it at the moment.

The Taban one is perhaps the closest thing so far, but he looks like a californian hippy, not the beardy stormy fishy dude of legend!

Yes Luna, a big fishman king type, imagine half storm giant, half cod, with a big fork and nautical themed shopping trolley to get wheeled about in.

I do, thanks.

I found that on this website ( http://www.talariaenterprises.com/product_lists/greek_marble_mstatue_pg2.html ) a little while ago and am giving it serious consideration, it is about 11" to the top of the trident, which makes it a big fellow, but I figure not much larger than the screaming bell.
