The Kustom Force Field wording says: "all units within 6" on the Big Mek gain blah blah, vehicles within 6" count as blah"
This should mean that enemy units can benefit from the KFF as well? If there is some rule that disallows that then how about allies?
The Mek tools allow a Mek to repair a vehicle he is in base contact with instead of shooting.
a) Can I repair allied vehicles? Me thinks yes unless some rule that I have neglected disallows it
b) If the Mek is joined to a squad can he repair a vehicle(if he meets all other criteria of course) and the rest of the squad fire normaly? ( i would say yes)
c) If the Mek is joined to a squad can he repair a vehicle(if he meets all other criteria of course) and the rest of the squad run? (maintaining coherency) (i would say no as he has replaced his shooting with a run)

No, enemy units do not benefit. Check the Main Rulebook FAQ. RaW there is an argument for it, but there is also an argument against. a) That requires a house rule, since allied games are not covered in 40k. b) Yes. c) No.

Thank for the link unite all action! Gamesworkshop fail at rules badly. Even the FAQ to correct a rule is ambiguous... Fluff wise it bloody well should provide cover! The Big Mek has a huge pulsing force field emitting from his back so anything within that forcefield should get it's cover save. I can't imagine why a force field would choose to deflect shots on orks rather than all shots

This is not true. The codex specifically states that it effects ALL units within 6", when somebody says ALL they mean ALL. This is specifically stated in the codex, and the word ALL obviously means ALL, that being friend or foe, ally or friends of the enemy.

Do you even read errata and FAQs?
GW specifically said that in the case of an ambiguous "all units" designation for a positive effect (such as a cover save or buff), assume it only applies to your army.
Oh, and special rules aren't shared between allies, why would they be shared between enemies?

Typically, if GW means for that special whatever to affect EVERYONE, then they are typically kind enough to include this phrase: (friend or foe!) GW is being clear, for once.
Now if it does NOT have that phrase, then it assume it only applies to your army.

Gwar is also right, theres no fluff reason to think it should protect your marines etc, the orks tech works how it does because they believe it works that way.
They probably think an integral part of its function is being green or something dumb like that

My Big Mek painted his KFF blue.
They don't need to be red, since force fields don't need to be da fastest, they don't need to be yellow, since they don't need to be da flashest, and da Ork carryin' da Kustom Force Field is already da greenest... what do KFFs need to be?

Well, i was saying, the orks probably believe you have to be green to receive the effect of the kff, not the kff needs to be painted green o.O

Where can I find rules for allies. I will speak to my TO but he uses "Warhammerworld" as a guideline for Doubles tournaments. Do they have a pdf of rules/guidlines for allies?
F.e. Does the KFF pass over to allied vehicles, can your allie embark in your transports etc

The only allies rules that currently exist (aside from the Daemon- and Witch Hunter codexes) are in the Apocalypse rulebook. There are no rules covering allies in regular 40K.
