So this project has taken up an ungodly amount of time for me, but it's worthwhile because I think I'm starting to get the hang of source lighting, which is always been something I wanted to get better at. I've never seen a paintjob on this model that I liked, especially the terrible one on the Forgeworld website (*barf) so I figured I'd try my hand out. I appologize in advance for the pictures not being up to my usual standard, my wife has converted my photo studio into her office while she's studying for her Master's. Anyway, here it is, my work in progress: the Keeper of Secrets, or as I affectionately refer to her, "B*&chzilla".

Iv never liked the mini and it feels half made. As with what you have done, I think its coming along really well.

Remember to add brighter highlights or more colour in the areas you want people to look at, such as the face.

All in all I think its coming along great.

I see where you're going with the source shading, hence the darker thighs under the buttocks. Looks very good indeed.

Well my friend, I believe it's for the same reason that every woman in a comic book is wearing heels and a costume that could pass for a stripper outfit: it's what nerds want. I'd love to know how many copies of "Return of the Jedi" have been ruined from continuously pausing it at certain parts...

As far as the model is concerned, though, I really think it's a good sculpt, and it's giving me a great opportunity to try out color transitions over large, smooth areas. Plus, it does kind of capture what I feel is the essence of Slaanesh (i.e. Marilyn Manson and Lady Gaga's wet dreams got together and had a really messed up kid.)

So B*tchzilla is pretty much complete. I have a cultist that I'm going to have on her base, but other than that, all done. I really like how my lighting turned out, and I'll eventually clean it up a little more on the tentacles, but for now I have to move on to finish up my Slaanesh army. Enjoy!

I used tweezers to hold them, then dipped the bottom of the piece in super glue and stuck it on her.

Thanks for the comments. I was trying to work some kind of freehand on the loincloth, but nothing really fit that well.

Very well done....I really like the color scheme that you have chosen.

The only thing that doesn't go well for me is the tendrils....it just feels unnatural though I can see where you were going with it.

Other than that...all I can say is a job well done.
