I'm on the night shifts now at the jail....heaps of time at night, 11pm-4am are generally spent trying to stay awake.

I just put Vassal40k on a thumb drive.

Now I'll be playtesting/solo play at work...paid to play 40k...Shaweet!

I have never failed to seize on 4+ in my life!

...its a 40k discussion/statement.

Naa..you cannot put painting down as easy as a solo game of 40k.

As soon as I hear a fight/buzzer/code go off I can simply get up and address the issue....rather than put down the brush, clean the paint and carefully put down my model, THEN handle the issue.

Now that's a creative solution to boredom. Good thinking there!

If I wanted to practice 40k in a jail I'd ask the convicts to fight one another with 40k rules... You roll the dice and tell one that he may hit another and not miss... then tell the other guy to get knocked out.

You get the idea.

Feasting on the souls of unworthy opponents

It doesn't have to be a solo game; just tell your opponent that you're on call and might have to disappear in the middle of a game for a few minutes.

So, would a prison-shank confer the Rending rule in CC with infantry?

no, but it would negate FNP
