Anyone else happy that GW has got big enough that there's going to be a film about it now?
Not to mention all of the new video games that are being released (Dark Millenium, Space Marine, DOW3)

But are there some people that are unhappy that there isn't as much focus on the TT? Rather that the focus on getting a more diverse crowd into 40k (and yes i have heard of yugioh t-shirt wearing kids collecting Tau).

I'm personally glad 40k has grown into a wider crowd of people because that means i can feel slightly less "nerdy" when talking about 40k with other people

Its necessary to be honest for the company to survive. New markets being available and new stores = more income. Meaning more resources for games workshop to work with. As long as they keep it sustainable.

Well i doubt GW will ever go bankrupt as there is just far to much interest in both the game and the models from both the UK and USA, so i think its safe to say that its not going anywere in our life time

If it gets more people into the game, I can't see it as a bad thing for the company. I don't think GW is spreading themselves too thin, since the people working on all their videogames and the like aren't actual GW people. Jervis Johnson isn't personally coding DoW3 over at Relic headquarters. They just license out companies they think will do a good job and it's worked pretty well so far.

While I agree that anything that helps promote GW's continued existence is good for my sanity, I do feel that a bit more resources and attention spent 'at home', so to speak, might mean faster codex and miniature releases.

Oi Tsar, you peaked my hopes by mentioning 'DOW3' but the interwebs say you are lying...

Explain yourself, sir!

For you and all the DoW3 doubters:

He already has coded a game: DoW: Soulstorm....

Also littlenibbler Orks aren't about armour saves.
Orks are about having too many models on the table, and wasting the other guy's time with your movement phase.
Orks are about having the toughest units on the table.
Orks are about not caring about how many bodies are left in a long winding trail until the squad is down to less than a third its starting strength.
Orks are about rolling more dice then you can count without the aid of a calculator or a pen and paper.
Orks are about having totally fething insane characters tearing gak down like Doc Grotsnik, Ghazghkull or Snikrot.
Orks are about being too fething awesome to die...
Lets settle this in the arena http://pantsformer.mybrute.com

Apparently it was released but was so awesome that time swallowed it up and nobody is aware that it was there.

I heard they are still honouring the preorders from 1996 for Duke Nukem Forever, and yes DOW3 is in production with PIRATE ORKS

No, because GW will get more customers and the prices will keep going up.
