Any thoughts oropinions?

Dont like 2 chaplains. I think taking a Reclusiarch would be better idea. The Priests dont need the LC. Swap out tacticals for more Assault Marines. I'm iffy on Devs, while they do provide good AT, they dont have too much of a place in an assault BA army. Maybe get dakka dreads/preads

Better but with FC, I dont think a hand flamer is necessary. I think a melta gun could do those squads good so they themselves can anti tank things (maybe even switch the LC to a 2nd meltagun but your choice)

The hand flamers are against hord armys and a melta gun would take the much needed cc attacks away, but a mleta would be nice especialy because those squads are so mobile.

I think your missing out on one of the most powerful units BA can run.

Honor Guard

I run mine with jump packs, 4x Melta, 4x Flamer. Its the only "Dakka" on the fly you can get. They are awesome. D6 scatter on the DoA deep strike means your almost guaranteed Melta range right on the drop. I've blown every Land Raider I've ever played against first round they come in. With 12" move you are almost guaranteed side armor shots and perfect flamer position the rest of the game. Even if you do get charged by the horde you just flamed, you've got a Sanguinary priest mixed into the squad, and they are still Marines, even if they aren't kitted for CC they can still handle themselves pretty well. The extra FNP/FC charge bubbles are very nice as well. I try to drop them close enough to give my Vanguard Veterans FNP/FC on the turn they perform Heroic Intervention, can't join a priest to their squad, but if one happens to be close enough to give the bubble effect, yay me!

Every game I've played they have been the star of the show, which is why I run 2!

They are especially good with Dante, you can move, shoot, Assault or get Assaulted, then "Hit and Run" out to get back to shooting! Love it!

O? how many points would that be for the squads i dont have the codex with me atm?
