A short but simple question...
Does anyone have an example of what is written on a seal of purity?
It's for my IG regiment's history.

(I don't know where this belongs so it can be in the wrong topic!)

However, I'm pretty sure the stuff written on a purity seal is just a list of the Space Marines deeds and acomplishments.

However, it's not Space Marine only. It's an Imperial medal awarded to imperial forces.

I think this would actually go in background forum.

On the topic of purity seals according to Codex:Witch Hunters they have prayers and such written on them to protect the bear from horror's they have witnessed, or just general bad guys.

There's examples of the text of purity seals within the Dawn of War 2 game.

Translated from High Gothic to English, of course.

I recall one that went something like this (paraphrasing), I believe the prayer was called "Humble Supplication":

Remember that we Space Marines were all at one point but helpless children
Each day that we fight as Space Marines in the Emperor's service is the greatest gift that can be given

It's like:
Battle brother carius dorn
The emperor smiles at your deeds
blessed by the holy chaplain of the ultramarine's 8th company
Brother-chaplain Gerfo Gertain
In recognition of your deeds
Has been granted this purity seal
And a couple internets
for killing all those xenos the other day
Remember? That was SWEET. You were like:
"Pachew-pachew" and they were like "AAHHHHH"
And you were like: "GRAAAAAHHH"
And they were DEAD. BAWWWWWWWWWW

That's what I'd assume they'd say

I think each one has a prayer or litany written on it.
Which brings me to the question, has GW written each litany, or it it left to imagination
