and I'm scared it wont be big enough.

I have a Tau battle force (12 fire warriors, 12 kroot carnivores, 1 devilfish, 3 stealth suits, 1 crisis suit, 4 gun drones, 1 marker drone) and a broadside. I bought the £35 one which is slightly smaller, will I have enough room. Oh I also bought Aun shi the ethereal too

The standard £35 case will easily hold your army. Each layer can hold 36 models, meaning that you only need one layer to hold your infantry, you can remove a layer or reshape it to hold your Devilfish, and then you have plenty of space left.

One of the things that makes me dislike 40K is transporting all the giant vehicles. I feel your pain!

GW's cases are stupid expensive. Go to walmart buy a 10 dollar, 4 pistol plano case, and cut the foam out for your vehicles with a a hobby knife. You can probably get three of their large tanks in once case. Its 10 dollars not 62.50.

I saw someone at Gencon easily transport his Valkyries. He used magnets for the stand and propellers. I was amazed at the ease of transport given the model.

I'm actually considering doing something similar, just haven't found the right part. I use my Vendettas more as gunships than speedy transports (although they do that too), so I feel they should be more like a helicopter than a jet. I've made the wings much shorter and put parts of the LR TL lascannon sponsons under them, so that part is done. Now I just need good propellers.

Indeed. He magnetized each blade. When he took them off, it was like he was storing a thin ruler. I was impressed. :-)

Had a PM asking which Plano case it is.

The cases I use for odd size models and vehicles are Plano 1404. They cost 10 bucks at walmart and between 15-22 at other places like Cabela's and Amazon. The case is described as a 4 Pistol case it contains a single layer of 1 1/2 inch pluck foam, and 2 layers of egg crate foam. It is roughly the same size as a GW case maybe 1 inch thicker. They fit will in the trunk together.

That wasn't even on tune
