Is vulkan the only primarch with a model?
Is there a rule set for the other primarchs if i were to make a custom model?
If vulkan is a primarch is he like absolutely ancient to still be around?
Is the current vulkan just named after the primarch vulkan?

He's a Captain. He bears the name Vulkan. But his full name is Vulkan He'stan.
And the Real Vulkan we have no idea how he looks.

For more information on He'stan, and why he now has his primarch's name, check his listing in the Space Marine Codex. Interesting story that's too much for me to post

From without, the Imperium is assailed by alien monsters from the depths of space, nightmare death-machines and soulless daemons (as well as soulless death-machines and nightmare daemons, and the occasional soulless daemon in a nightmare death machine).

None of the loyal primarchs (including Vulcan) are still around in the current timeline. They don't have official models either. The Vulkan He'Stan model is a position in the Salamanders, not the Primarch.

Some of the traitor primarchs are still around (yes they're old, but chaos handles that), but they don't have official models either, that I know of. The rules for Angron are the only primarch rules.

I have seen models of all the Primarchs, though I have no ideas where they came from.

Anyways you can always make 'counts as' and have fun making rules. If you go into Proposed Rules, I'm sure you'll find a thread soon enough of someone doing the same thing.

It would be quite excellent if the last of Vulkan's missing artifacts for the Salamanders to find is Vulkan himself, in stasis, somewhere...

Actually there are oficial primarch models from GW they are from epic thou and the primarch princes from each god only. I'll try to find those old models and post them.

And regarding angron rules i havent seen them however if the nightbringer can beat him might be because the nightbringer is actually a god

I haven't. From the first novel (I did read), I was referring to the
Spoiler:
10,000 year old marine they found that gave clues to the primarch.
But you know this already.

I didn't know of those Epic models, they're goofy, but hey they are official.
