Hi everyone, my first post, yeah. So I'm new to to Warhammer 40k, I just started playing Blood Bowl and Necromunda again. I decide to start a GorkaMorka gang for some high speed mayham, and figured why not make a Ork Army for 40k, since I was spending money on a Ork Battlefoce box and could get the AoBR for pretty cheap.

So keeping in mind the Trukk (and Bikes) will also be used in GorkaMorka so it needs (atleast to me) all the extra gear, how would you feel in the last 50pts. Like I said I have the Ork Battleforce and AoBR, plus 6 Orks and left over weapons forn a box Loota/Burna and Ork Boyz.

P.S. What do you guys think of my list so far, and any advice on beat SM with this list would be helpful.

Warboss needs Cybork or maybe switch him out for a Big Mek. And I would Drop Nobz in favor for more boyz or bikes (who are horribly understrength)

Everything else is standard.

dont put eavy armour on your nobz leading the boyz its a waste really since you can just take a boy of when the units takes wounds and if your nob is by himself because everything else is dead hes prolly rooted anyway.

I give my warbosses mega armour, because you get a 2+ armour save, a power klaw (25 pts) and a twin linked shoota (5pts), meaning that the mega armour itself is only 10pts. Just watch out for the slow and purposeful.

You are too spread... You have footy boyz behind and fast bikes and trukks... As I say to everyone with that list, you are not specialized enough to beat anyone in competitive list (although I believe that it is your friend that started SM and is new too so for fun it will be more than ok)...

Decide to go all fast or all slow... It will make a huge difference...

On giving a Boyz Nob heavy armor.

Since the Nob Has 2 wounds you can put bolter shots on him to try and make the 4+ save. Then if he fails one, you stop and never allocate to him again. It could save 1-2 boys if you are lucky.

the warboss should have cybork body, the nobs should have cybork body and a painboy.

Based on what you have it looks like you are playing with a Black reach box and a battleforce right?

or you could buy an extra boy for those points. I get what your saying but I dont think its worth 5 points thats all, plus the OP is playing small games so every point counts no room for fat in a 1000pt list

You have got to stick to 1 list type. mech or foot, not both.
