Wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to make a corpse or dead body? I'm looking to stack a few for a project and I don't really know where to start, I'm no good at modeling otherwise i'd just model a few dead bodies stacked onto of each other.

Thanks

Warhammer fantasy set offers a corpse cart in the vampire counts army, thats how i started with corpses well that and green stuff i just took the dead bodies and did what i wanted to do with them.

So what did a squad of Fire Dragons say to the ork stompa?

Amusing, now if only I had a shrink ray to put them on bases.

Nah, just only use really little people. Or kids?

Bact to topic though, I bought a VC battalion for the same basic reasons. Lots of varied body parts for all sorts of gribbly goodness, though a zombie box will do for most I would imagine. Depends on how decayed you want them really. Ghouls are good for some bits though also have some oversized parts that might look odd.

What was the plan then, any more details? You want human casualties? 40k fantasy? etc

Yeah, what kind of corpses are you going for? I would suggest cadians and just cut and greenstuff together their legs so they lie flat as if they had fallen down. Don't really need to change their faces, just say they died eyes/mouth wide open, like guardsmen usually do
Otherwise I would think painting corpses would be straight forward? I'm sure there are tons of tutorials for that on here somewhere.

one suggestion for getting them to lay flat is to "sink them in the mud" as you base them, it will require less cutting.

Human was the goal, basically you have a Heavy Weapons team and instead of sand bags you got corpses is the basic concept. Cadians might work, I'm just not looking forward to making them lay flat.

For it to be convincing you'd need to get choppy sticky stuffy with it. Everything should hang convincingly over whatever is under it, and so you will definitely need to put on your modellers hat.

Time to man-up and dig out the greenstuff! There ain't no substitute for practice.

Guardsmen and pinning works pretty well, especially with muddy bases and barbed wire.

Son can you play me a memory? I'm not really sure how it goes...

Perhaps using the Zombies/Skeletons from WHFB, or Lesser Daemons of Nurgle and just swapping parts around with Guardsmen?
