So my Orks are pretty easy to name (anything goofy), and Dark Eldar are also pretty easy (Kabal of [insert negative adjective/noun here], but what about Blood Angels?

Do they have a particular scheme for naming armies? What about naming Librarians?

I really have no template for making up names for characters I just use Romanesque names and some of my friends names just modified a little lol,

I don't really take it too seriously when I name mine, I tend to just go with something that rolls of the tongue pretty easily and also something I can actually pronounce!

To be honest I can't even begin to pitch

I want it to be something Vampiric, but I have no idea what at the moment.

If you're going for vampires, the clear choice is the Twilight Marines.



But seriously, as far as names for your marines go, I'd stick to Romanian names such as Vlad, Andrei, and Remus.

I do already sub out Vampire Count Lords for Librarians when my army rolls for the Thirst.

I think I might go with Sylvania Company, or something - thanks for the idea!

Their (individual) names seem to be more Renaissance, and particularly Italian Renaissance, oriented than Vampiric. Arguably with some angelic aspects thrown in.

As for chapter naming, Blood, Red, Angels, and variations thereof, with the exception of the Lamenters.

Well ... I don't name my Blood angels in particular but try putting names on these

One Has an Eye patch and Sticking Tongue out
One has an Eye Patch and a bloody chainsword
One Has sun-glasses and a Moustache
One Just has Sun-Glasses

I use lots of different things for naming characters and fluff material a few examples:

Astronomy books,
Roman names,
Russian names,
Latin Names...

No offence and I'm not Annoyed but most of those chaplains names Sound Like Icecrown Citadel Bosses (From WoW for those of you who dont know)

I had a similar issue, for a few ideas, go to middle-bottom of the first page where we're tossing names around.
