Been known and fangirled about for a long time now. Sean Bean as Ned Stark makes me a happy happy black mage. Also, in addition to the board game by FFG, I'd point out the wonderful line of miniatures by Dark Sword. Although there's not much if you're looking for gaming pieces (although a few might suffice as special characters), for fans of the series that want a piece to paint, they're amazing. Link to the gallery. The first set put me off at first, the faces looked too harsh, but it's their paintjobs - look at some of the ones Jen and Marike did for them.

is that also where news on any other gaming related tv shows/ movies goes? like the space marine movie?

It's not gaming related, though. Most people know "Game of Thrones" from the novels...which is why it would go in "Off-Topic".

FFG has a decent line of licensed games. Darksword makes miniatures of the characters from the books.
It is news. Anytime there is a fantasy related series/movie it usually gets mentioned here.
I don't know about anyone else, but I do not go to "Off-Topic" to look for movie news.

I almost ordered HBO for this and Boardwalk Empire. Still more then a little tempted. We'll see when it actually comes out. I hope that it follows close to the story and not to GRRM's form of releasing WAY late.
