Hello all,
I am currently trying to find a suitable miniature for one of the
PCs in the D&D game I
DM. I intend to paint it up as part of a Christmas present to the player in question. Unfortunately, I've been having a difficult time finding a good match.
The character is an Avenger: a church-sponsored assassin that favours 2-handed weapons. This
PC uses a 2-handed axe. The class favours cloth over any form of actual armour.
This is where it gets tricky. Most of the minis I see with big axes are either well-armoured knights or barely-clad barbarians. The avengers tend to favour assassin-like dress, but most assassins models use something less flashy than a 2-handed axe.
My closest find so far has been the Dark Lord Logar miniature from Reaper:
The executioner's hood is a bit ominous, but this might be the closest I can get. Anyone have a better suggestion?
Thanks,
Shawn
PS. The character's race is Shifter - essentially a human with a lycanthrope ancestor who becomes more bestial during battle. I've pretty much given up on modelling this given the other constraints listed above - a human model will suffice quite well.
