While i would usually think it was a 50mm, im more inclined to think 40mm so he fits into units of trolls.
He is however a special character without a model, so im unsure here.
Ill be starting a sculpt of him, so want to get the base size right from the start.

Any ideas please dakka?

I'd go 40mm, he's just a troll not a full on monster.

Definitely go with 40mm. If Ogre Kingdom characters are on 40, Troll characters would reasonably do the same.
