Just thinking. Sanctuary 101 was when the Necrons first made their presence known, way back when. So perhaps this Novel (much as Nightbringer immediately preceded their current Codex) is the Herald of the Necrons?

September next year. Could also perhaps indicate when we can expect Inquisition?

I've never known GW to coincide releases with BL, but there has been coincidences. Since the Necs need an update, maybe. But I doubt it.

BlackLibrary Hammer-and-Anvil wrote:The Sisters of Battle are the Emperor’s most devout worshippers, fierce warriors preaching the purity of the Imperium and scourging their enemies with bolter and flamer. On a distant world, the Ecclesiarchy outpost of Sanctuary 101, was wiped out by an implacable foe - the fearless, soulless necrons. Now, a mission of the Sisterhood has returned to reconsecrate the site - but the metallic nightmares still lurk in the darkness, guarding a secret that has lain dormant for millennia. A vicious battle will be fought - one that can only end in the total destruction of the unrelenting xenos, or the annihilation of the proud Sororitas.

BL has just released the first book of an Eldar triology by Gav Thorpe. Have I just missed GW's Eldar release?

... which is quite possible IMO.

Except the only fascinating thing in the new Gav Thorpe Eldar book were the 5 or so pages dedicated to Arhra, the silent Scorpion, and Karandras.

I'd say that book did it's job too!

Bah! I suggested it first. Hopefully both the Necrons and the Sisters of Battle will be updated by then. Or at least the Sisters, if GW hasn't worked out how to turn the Necrons into an appealing army by then.

From what I gather we should see Necrons early summer next year and sisters early autumn.

These are just my personal thoughts on the matter from the rumours Ive gathered.
Im sure GW will find room to throw in a SM codex or two in there somewhere
