Hey,

A friend and I are looking for mature players in Toronto That can meet once a month and have a game. We are pretty new to gaming probably have around 8, 5th ed. games under our belts. It tends to get repetitive playing the same person.

We are not fan of GW gaming areas. Usually too many kids, customers and over zealous employees. We had one game at Heroes World and we enjoyed it alot. They have a few tables some nice scenery. The employees were great and helpful. The downside is they only have 2 days for WH40k. We visited Dueling Grounds just after they moved. The gaming room has no ventilation and for a fat guy thats a nightmare lol. We were not fans (ha ha pun intended) of the place. Maybe the place has changed since then so we don't mind trying again. We have just recently heard of Heavy Support and would like to try it or at least check it out, but It is not easy for us to get there.

I have a 3500pt CSM army that I'm working on and my friend has a finished 10,000 SM army. I also have another friend who like to collect them but doesn't know how to play. He has an insane amount of Tau, IG, SM, Eldar, CSM and tons of terrain. I kinda wish he would read the Damn books ha ha.

Despite your dislike for GW gaming spaces, have you tried the one at Weston/Langstaff? Its where I usually play (agree completely with you on Dueling Grounds). The staff (one guy, Clarence) is friendly and far from pushy, there are a minimum of off the street browsers due to it not being in a mall, and for the most part the people who play there are great.

I'll be there all day Saturday if you want to get a game or two in. Just look for the fat guy with the tattoos and the Red Sox hat.
