Hey guys,

I was just looking at the classic terminators with power fists and stormbolters. (the ones on regular sized bases) and I thought they would work nicely as normal grey knights as in my opinion grey knights should look better than normal marines and they come with stormbolters. Will have to convert the powerfists into nfw's but could be fun and look a bit different. And who knows normal gk's will be usable come new rules... (wistfully looks into the sky).

As an aside point I happen to have almost a dozen of these models which makes it worth doing...

Sorry i couldn't upload pics of what they look like, but i am sure enough people remember...

any comments?

I don't like the idea. Grey Knight models are fantastic, so why miss out on the chance to field them? Besides, they're still obviously Terminators, and that's just some counts-as confusion waiting to happen.

Well, make the faces look different...And they should look okay.

Aside from the fact that it's very obvious the models are in Terminator armor, and they won't mesh with the look of the Grey Knight Terminators in the force. If you're going to go play Daemonhunters, might as well go all in and use the sexy PAGK models.

He's talking about the really old kind of Terminator, the ones on the 25mm bases.

Yeah I think it can only lead to confusion even when you've told your opponent that the old termis are realy powered amourd ones . Plus the aesthetics are realy off.

Probably work

Well, I for one don't think it's the best idea. Terminators have a fairly set look and feel, and they haven't changed that much over the years, only gotten a little larger. I wouldn't throw a fit if you used them in a game, but I would never do it myself.

i like the idea , get rid of the helmets and arms ect.. they are not much bigger than regular space marines now anyway. and there is much room for interpretation in the 40k universe , i would prefer to fight a field of original ideas than carbon copies , personaly
