Hey guys I'm a new player to WM coming over from 40k. I have already chosen my army which as in the title of the
thread is Khador. After coming from a Khorne background with kharne I felt very comfortable with Khador and the Butcher.
So besides putting my 15pt list up and asking for comments I'm also curious with what units work best with him from other players
experiences.

15pts
eButcher
Juggernaut
Juggernaut
Widow makers
Yuri the axe

Im yet to play with this list as Im still waiting for the army to get here. So it maybe a bit presumptuous of me asking for comments and
advice when I haven't play tested it but I just wanted some advice from veterans on what works best and what shenanigans you can
pull off with ebutcher.

Dunno about eButcher, but pButcher would run that list nicely.

eButcher is one of my top 5 casters for Khador, and Khador is my primary faction for Warmachine. For me i like jacks with Reach, to make the best use of Rampager.

I tend to play with my balls out when i play eButcher, first turn you roll for focus, allocate toi your jacks so they can run and then i run him to the middle, his natural ARM 18 protects him pretty well unless your facing a pure gun threat like kara sloan or something.

widowmakers are good for getting quick rage tokens on feat turn. here is what i run at 35 points:

eButch
- Spriggan
- Beast 09
Drakhun
Great Bears
Rifle Corp
Kovnik Joe

the rifle corp provide infantry depletion and good ranged attacks to get rage token on feat turn. most of my kills come from the Dralkhun who rushes up the flank for 2 rounds then hooks into the back, gets three rage tokens and axes my opponenets caster.

You dont have alot of units, so you are going to have to expect your juggs to take a ton of focus fire or be ready for assassination attempts from your opponent. Personally, I would probably switch yuri for a manhunter and the juggs for BEAST or a devestator. Yuri cant put out as focused damage as a manhunter can, but he has thresher which will generate some kills for butcher's feat. But then, if you have beast, he has thresher also, and he is going to one shot 99.9% of every infantry he swings at. He also is much better than a jugg, and by switching the two juggs for beast, you will have 3 more points to play with. Devestator would also be a good choice because he will generate even more rage with his rain of death, and will be able to absorb more fire from your opponent.

I recall a game I had against ret where I simply walked a devestator at my opponent, and he just couldnt kill it. Then it opened up, and nuked down a good ten points worth of models in one shot, including a light jack.

pButcher would work well in that list as well, since you have two jacks for full throttle. You could take a manhunter and a war dog instead of yuri. Butcher's feat + fury on a manhunter will just about murder anything. I played a game against a legion army and I smoked a scythean(?) heavy warbeast with a charging, buffed manhunter. The 2 point investment in a manhunter is well worth it, I dont field any army without at least 1.

if your going to go down the pButcher route i recommend a min unit of mechanics at least. since pButcher has no speed tricks your opponent will most likely get the jump on your jacks

I'd switch the widowmakers for two manhunters to go with Yuri. You get the synergy with him since he makes them ignore forests and more weapon masters attacks for the feat turn.

From my experiences, people tend to either try and avoid manhunters/yuri, which is great because you are constricting their field of play. Or, they overcommit to trying to kill them, which usually ends up in them exposing some portion of their army, and losing several models to the manhunters.

They are cheap enough that they earn their keep very easily, but also deadly enough to demolish light jacks pretty easily. POW11+4d6 +POW11+3d6 on the charge, with high MAT, they can really put the hurt on just about anything.

Just try not to let them get bogged down in cheap infantry groups, like TFG, mech thralls, zealots, winterguard, etc etc, that is really the best way to stop them. Although, Yuri butchers infantry squads...

Thanks for all the help guys! Hopefully I will be able to trial the list out this week
and then depending on how the games go take a few of the suggestions here on board.
