Anyone else out there have trouble with blogs publishing your comments and then immediately deleting them? I've run into it on a few blogs out there where I write a decently lengthly response and it publishes and then poof! It's gone

A lot of blog owners can't take criticism. That's the gist of it really.

Do you mean on Dakka or personal blog sites?

Per the title and the first sentence, he's refering to blogs, which are different from forums like Dakka.

Brother SRM hit the nail on the head. Alot of these guys can't take different opinions, especially when they are thought out. Better to post on Dakka.

Yea, its definetly people deleting then mate. I used to read a blog years ago where a guy was acting like a serial killer. And Id simply add that some of what the guy was talking about was either wrong, or just didnt add up, and my posts would be gone within a few minutes. Really lame

From what I understand Google Blogger tends to eat/spam filter posts fairly regularly.

My advice: Write said comment in notepad or something, then paste it in.

If it gets eaten, you haven't lost the post, and can try again, if it keeps getting eaten its probably being deleted by the owner
