I'm working on a bike mounted warboss and I wanted some opinions. Should I mount the bike on a bike base or a 60mm base?

I'm also not sure what to do ruleswise. There's no model for a warboss on a bike so pg3 doesn't really apply I guess. Also, I'm using a deffkopta as the basis for the bike so it will likely be a bit longer than a normal bike model.

Do you play 30k? It'd be a lot cooler if you did.

I would think you would mount him on a bike base, because he's riding a bike, but ive been rong before.

Im with him on this one. Your probably only doing it so that the bike can be stable on the base. Thats what I would do. Stick with the bike for now and if the bike base is too small go with the bigger one.

Personally I'd try to mount it on a Bike base, seems more logical to me.

Saying that, the Forgeworld Warboss on a bike has his own one that's a little larger than a standard bike base: http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Warhammer-40000/Orks/ORK-WARBOSS-ON-WARBIKE.html

definitly buy it. I play Space Marines and i still want to buy it lol. post some pics and show us all the bike but i didnt think that you needed a base for the bike models so you should be able to mount it on whatever you want/works easiest

I went with the 60mm cuz it wouldn't fit on a bike base. It's not as long as the FW one but it's pretty bulky.

why do you want to know? huh? HUH?

I think you should put him on a bike base and put the front end of the bike in the air. Ork wheelie

I handmade a 'big bike' base like the FW one, by very carefully chopping a 40mm round base in half and gluing the halves on the ends of a 40mm square base. A little gap filling was needed, and some plasticard reinforcment underneath, but otherwise not that difficult. Looks great under my Gutzmek conversion.
