I just bought Brother Corbulo (very cool model), and I proxy him as my Sanguinary Priest, which is easy, because he has a blood chalice.

But I'm running into problems with my second model. I hate the GW Priest model - it's $15 for a regular Marine that doesn't even have a blood chalice!



What do Blood Angels players do for their Sanguinary Priests? I have a Sargeant that I have painted a different color scheme to show as my Priest, but I really want a second chalice, and I'm considering buying Corbulo again, and painting him a different color scheme.

Doh picked the wrong place for you. Any who ... If all you want is a chalice ... I hear lego works ... look here... Yes you will need some green stuff on them but such is life.

The lego chalice is nearly as big as a space marine.

More use having it here, Gunzhard ...

The clear and gold were the the lego ones. Big but then again you could use it to club an ork to death.

Good call thanks... the clear, the gold, and the blue and green are all Lego chalices.

The clear thumbtac for reference, and the others are Maxmini.eu chalices.

So I bought the LEGO one listed above for 99c, and it goes very well with my Priest - all I had to do is cut out all of the middle, and it's the perfect size.

I'd like to see photos of that...

I dont neccessarily think the blood chalice has to be represented. I use just ordinary Apothecaries in my army. The only difference I make is that I exchange the apothecary backpack (ive never liked it anyway) and use the back pack from the new Death Co sprue with the chalice on top. I think it gives it that priest look.

The bottom is the worst part - you can even just use a little nub for it - the top doesn't look that bad at all next to Corbulo. Sorry for the blurriness - my camera is dead and I had to use my phone.

Don't worry about showing the chalice, even in the fluff it states not every SP carries one, just parts of broken ones in their gear sometimes. Just use a normal apoticary model or convert a plastic marine with BA bits and paint it with whites and reds so it sticks out a bit.
