I've gons crazy making apoc formations, lists, and superheavies but i had a question! on IA Apoc2 they show both the hell talon and hell blade CSM flyers. But in both they say they can be used (with opponent's permission) as heavy support choices in standard games. Yet all over the internet i see the hell blade as a fast attack choice... can anyone explain this to me? i would LOVE to have a sweet and cheap FA choice with permission!

Probably because they're flyers people lump them into the Fast Attack category with other mobile units.

Also littlenibbler Orks aren't about armour saves.
Orks are about having too many models on the table, and wasting the other guy's time with your movement phase.
Orks are about having the toughest units on the table.
Orks are about not caring about how many bodies are left in a long winding trail until the squad is down to less than a third its starting strength.
Orks are about rolling more dice then you can count without the aid of a calculator or a pen and paper.
Orks are about having totally fething insane characters tearing gak down like Doc Grotsnik, Ghazghkull or Snikrot.
Orks are about being too fething awesome to die...
Lets settle this in the arena http://pantsformer.mybrute.com

When it was originally released, the Hell Blade was a Fast Attack choice. It has since been changed to Heavy Support.

LAME

:( if it was still one i would LOVE to use it in friendly games since i never use FA slots... but theyre better HS slots for the same prince in a CSM army than these...

except horge orks and that bomber :p

That's exactly why they were switched. Having them as FA made them a no brainer to take. Now that they're HS it's a much more difficult choiceß

and now CSM plaers simply ignore the FA choice.. AGAIN

yeah.. that makes sense GW

If it's a friendly game, why wouldn't whoever you are playing against let you take them as fast attack anyway?

Because it's not the rules.
If you're going to play IA at least follow the rules...

Yeah, you don't really need permission to field most IA stuff, but if you are taking it, follow the rules - if they're HS, then you take them as HS.
