I've had a look through here as much as the search will allow and havn't seen this topic yet. I've been looking at Campaign Cartographer and Dunjinni as I want to start making some maps for wfrp and the various 40k games.

CC looks like the better product, with much more choice and flexibility but I've read a number of reviews that say it's fairly complex to get started with. Does anyone have any experiences with these two pieces of software as I can't quite decide which one to go for.

I use neither. Autorealm and RPGtools (both open source freeware) are sufficient enough for me to create maps... that and the snipping tool included in windows coupled with google maps!
