Hi everyone!
I'm expanding my IW army and I wanted to include a Daemon Prince in it, equipped with Mark of Tzeench, Transformation Ray? and Wind of Chaos? (sorry my codex is in Spanish ). I've seen the new Daemon Prince figure, and I must say that it's pretty awesome! However, I wanted to give him a more IW feeling, such as including wires, tubes and weapons coming out of his daemonic flesh in a very Obliverator way. It's a difficult task, so I've thought on using a Soul Grinder (from Chaos Daemons) as a Daemon Prince. I like that model so much, very mechanical and chaotic, and I think it fits really nice with IW (it's not hard to imagine a mechanical Iron Warrior Daemon Prince, isn't it?). The problem is that it's bigger than the Daemon Prince, and it may give problems on a tournament.
My question is: is there any problem on using a Soul Grinder as a simple CSM Daemon Prince?

Thank you very much!!!

Can you show a base template in comparison?

Pat that askala, O-H-I hate this stupid state

Take off the back two legs and that part of the chasis and i think it would work just fine. Just be sure to pivot the second set of legs more backward so he doesnt tip all the time and you should be good.

Also find them used as they will be a ton cheaper. No point in spending almost $60 for a DP.

It's CD size vs Dreadnought size.

For tournaments, the only answer that ever exists for these types of questions is simple: You must ask the TO; it's completely at their discretion.

I don't think I would have a problem with it myself, unless you were doing a lot of back and forth movement with it to exploit the base size.

I say, go for it. A deamon prince can be as big and as crazy as you like.

If your going to pick a specific chaos marine army I'd make an Iron Warrior, they likes machines like this.

Ask yourself: have you rated a gallery image today?

Looks good. I would have no issue leaving all four legs. If you could convert with giant IW shoulder pads like the actual demon iornce that would be ven better, and truly yours.

I would suggest the sword hand variant as well as that seems more demon princish to me.

Hmmm something is going on here.....Oh.... it seems there is some dispute over video taping of some sort......Frazz is really upset now..........wait a minute......whats he go there.......is it? Can it be?....Frazz has just unleashed his hidden weiner dog from his mini bag, while quoting shakespeares "Let slip the dogs the war!!" GG
