Which fantasy army is best models wise?

I think the Orc & Goblin units are the most fun and interesting-looking.

Warriors of Chaos, hands down.

I like Orcs and Goblins, but Warriors of Chaos have so many "wow factor" models. Though in fairness, the basic Marauders are pretty bad.

High Elves FTW.

Im a dwarf player myself but i have to say high elves.

High Elves? Really? That's suprising, I always thought they were one of the worst. In fact, I'm trying to think of a range I like less, and it's really difficult to think of one!

All the silly hats and giant hands, really?

I love the High Elves plastics that just came out really good looking models but Warriors Of Chaos are such great models the Warriors are really cool as well with the Knights IMO

I'd Dogs of War if they weren't OOP.

I always loved the Beastment models. Especially the Beastlords. However, quite a lot of the models are ugly as hell. I also really like a lot of the Tomb King models but again many aren't so easy on the eyes. So I'd probably go with the Chaos models. I especially like the Lords of Tzeentch.

I'm going to go with beastmen, there's a reason I chose to start with them. The beastlonds (especially the dual weapon one) and the doombull are just so striking and the rank and file have a lot of character.
Just wish more of the army book actually had models.

I must also say that the WOC do have some very nice models and the way that some of the show models from 'Eavy metal take my breath away.

Also a nod to the dark elves cold ones, single coolest cavalry mount out there for sure.

Yhetees are alright, but the Gorgers are ugly.

IMO, Lizardmen are the best looking, but I'm a stout servant of the Old Ones. Kroq-Gar is a personal favorite.

For consistency, I would say probably Empire is the best looking ALL ROUNDER. Their models are entirely newly designed, dynamic and well posed. The arent really any munters in there.

Skaven are my favourite, personally, but since, like most other armies, there are various styles and editions all lumped together...there are a couple of really bad figs too (nightrunners! and the old Rat Ogres)

Lizardmen have great troop models, and the slaan is awesome, but the terranadons are proabably the worst sculpts in the entire citadel range. (perhaps beaten by the Pumbagor!)

New high Elves are great....old ones are terribad in their proportions.

Plastic Warriors of Chaos are awesome, and their character models are brilliant, but cmon...Chaos Ogres, Trolls and those slowed Chosen? ugh.

I'd use Stone or River Trolls converted for chaos trolls if it came to it, those chaos trolls are just disgracefully ugly. I'd use Ogre bulls for Chaos Ogres too- screw paying out that much cash for such terrible minis!

In my opinion, Dark elves.

High elves have some beautiful new stuff, but since some of their core troops are still godamm ugly they arent at the same level. Woodies would be fantastic if it wasn´t for their metal troops.

On the other hand the army with the best aesthetical balance is probably Bretonnia, since apart from the enchantress in Unicorn all the models are flawless.

Rest of the armies are way, way behind those.

I say Dark Elves. What else can field an army of scantily-clad, bloodthristy hotties?

2nd place goes to WoC, much badassery in there minis, maurauders aside

Lizardmen just can be molded to look so unique. I love them! Cool to paint too, lots of bright lush colors jarring with brass, obsidian, and gold.
