If I were to sculpt a bit out of GS & plastic, and wanted it cast in white metal, say 25 times, who would I contact?

They do for-hire work like that? Awesome pointer.

Anybody got experience having Chapterhouse cast METAL BITZ for them?

Troll Forged certainly would do it. But Ed currently has quite a lot to cast.
But with the right silicon, it is not difficult to do moulds. I did it as a child.

Yes, me. ...they did like 100 shoulder pads for me. The first time was more expensive because they had to make the molds etc... But several months later I wanted more and I only paid the cost of casting.

Oooh... now that is *very* useful information. Thank you very, very much!

I'll PM Chapterhouse for more info.

Presumably, you were sufficiently pleased with the result to go back for more?

Are you allowed to talk about your experience with Chapterhouse, and how you went about it? I'm sure a lot of others would be interested in this.

Yeah I dealt with Nick only... not sure who all is involved in the business now though.

The metals were perfect casts. I couldn't have asked for anything better.

And you sculpted the shoulderpad, or you spec'd the shoulderpad?

I sculpted it, but I think he would spec something for you, probably not cheap - I dunno. He won't cast copyrighted stuff though, but I guess that is obvious.

Sadly my sculpt skills are very weak haha but the metals were identical copies.

OK, cool. As I'm just doing a relatively simple bit, the only concern I have with self-sculpting vs spec is if it would cast badly.

But with shoulder pads as a possiblity, I become interested in that, as it would save me a lot of freehand painting effort.

Well I'm no expert in their methods, but mine were great. Shoot them an email.
