Lots of poorly played things in this game... there was a few things I'd like to point out:

1) When you beat the Nobz in combat, did they roll a leadership? you should have ran them down if they lost by 3 (they only had a 30% chance to pass ld at that point)

2) Nobz only have 2 wounds each. Also, they cannot all have 1 wound each unless they have different wargear

3) Your dread should have done SOME damage to the kan... you go first and you had a DCCW... str 10 vs av 11 = pew pew!

Good report tho, your learning!

1, probably not, I keep forgetting to role leadership unless models go off the table, plus I don't think I've been remembering to modify the role, got to work on that part.

2. This was a cluster, I for some reason kept thinking the Nobz had 3 wounds, even though i had written out a list just before the game, I thought wounds could be spread out anyway the defender wanted, better go back and read that section again.

3. I do remember this really well, I said now I'm going destroy this stupid thing, and I rolled a 1. I was thinking you never hit on a 1?

Thanks alot for the comments, I really appreicate it, I need to go to the game store and learn to play, but its an hour away, and the night they play is the same night my cousin doesn't work and can come by my house so its going to be hard to get over there. My cousin enjoyed the game more this time though, it went a little faster then the first time even though he had twice as many units. Still took like 3 hours though.

Lol funnily enough you cannot HIT on a 1 but you can roll to damage a vehicle on a 1, your dred is STR10 and the can is armour 11 so rolling a 1 to wound just means youve glanced it 10+1 = 11, which is equal to his armour and thus a glanting hit. nice little games though

I wonder if there is another word for "thesaurus"

Yeah, you never hit on 1's and 2's unless you have a rule that allows it (Kharne for chaos has such a rule). But like the previous dude said, you can still glance/pen on 1's if you do hit lol.

Yeah, 3 hrs is pretty slow for an 800 pt game, but your learning. Once you know the rules better an 800 pt game might take 45 mins to an hr, tops. Keep up the good work tho!

And yeah, Marines will be outnumbered often against Orks, Tyranids, and the like. Marines are more expensive, but tougher, than your average ork afterall!
