Hello guys!

I've recently bought a pretty substantial batch of new models for my Eldar army and I'm stuck considering what colours to use on them. I want them in green, but I have no idea which kind of green would go well with Eldar's sleek, lithe looks, especially for their tanks. I'm looking for something like Biel-tan, but slightly darker and with more green than white. Advice on what to paint the gemstones with would be very useful too.

I'm completely untrained painter, so any starter tips would also be welcome, doubly so for painting Eldar in particular. What to avoid and what to look for, that sort of thing. And of course, if you like, showing off photos of models in various shades of green would be much appreciated.

I recently decided to try Eldar these are my WIP test mini's for my Biel-Tan force ignore the white areas they are getting changed but the green i was quite happy with. I flipped the scheme and painted the body green and helmets white as I didn't want to have to look at all that white I think it works quite well.

Hmm...both schemes are really nice. What do you think are other colours that go with the sort of dark green scheme? I was thinking bleached bone and white highlight and some sort of grey for shading.

Now, how about tanks? That's what I'm more interested in, because their elegance looks like they really benefit from a skilled painter's hand.
