I just started Orks. I was wondering if anybody might have any good techniques.

In the Wasteland

I have a lot of good techniques (I think) on painting. you have to be more specific.

For example: rust.
1st basecoat black. The add drybrush layer blazing orange. Then drybrush Boltgun metal. Then you can add your armies color.

Hope this has helped a bit.

In the comments of the first picture there is a breakdown of how they were painted. I forgot to mention that :/

It is a VERY quick method of painting Orks, stolen from someone else here on Dakka, whose name I also forget.

Though guards may sleep and ships may lay at anchor, our foes know full well that big guns never tire.

That would be painting an ork using washes.
Which is possibly the fastest way of doing it, and it looks pretty good. (just needs some details added)

thanks for all the advice. i'm really good at painting imperial guard so i'm having a rough time with orks considering i've never looked or painted an ork.
