Hi guys, long time reader first time poster here. Thought I'd share with you my newest 40k army.

Its going to be a bit of a WIP blog following my Space Wolves from sometimes unboxing right through to Tabletop shots, Not always though, sometimes i might just post finished pics!

So without further adoo, here we go.

I wanted my wolves to have a sorta 'pre-heresy' gritty kinda dark grey/blue hew to them, rather than the pale blue that we commonly associate with the puppies, however i am well aware this isnt new, but hey! i like them that way!

So here we go, I've started this blog a bit late, so some stuff is already built and painted so to begin with it might jump around, but ill try to update it very frequently!!

I'll briefly describe roughly how I go about painting my Wolves;

I start with a Basecoat of Fenris grey, usually heavily Drybrushed onto either a Black or White undercoat, this is followed up by an Asurman Blue Wash (HEAVY) then a light Badab Black wash. I then drybrush again with a 50/50 of Shadow and Fortress Grey. Before maybe (if needed) a Drybrush of 75/25 Fortress to Shadow with a little Space wolves grey added.

Then i Obv detail !

So to begin, a few based marines that i build this morning

Dreddy basecoated and started on the wash

Logan and Njal basecoated (little poorly)

A finished Termi, I have 1 squad done, but they still need basing and the leader needs to be glued again as i painted him un assembled, but i will update when i find some glue!

Love the guys with the wolf heads... man would that make a cool Luna Wolves conversion (all the marines depicted as lycanthropes).

Nice! Interesting technique.

Probably quite a fast way to paint minis as well, to a decent tabletop standard.

A lot. 5K +

I just noticed that there seems to be a mold line on the the power fist arm.

forgive me, whats a mould line :( sorry?

I kinda got a bit further with the dread, he's not done, he needs touching up (giggidy!) and basing properly, and his feet. Still some work but he's tabletop for now

If your family is mad at you, Ogres are the way to go. No one could be mad at Ogres. But if you come out and they demand to know what you're wasting your time on and you hold up a rat, you're not going to make any friends.
