Hey guys, made this army list and tried it out today, didn't do too bad just wanna know what you thought
HQ
Reclusiarch (jump pack) - 155
Troops
10 x Tactical marines (Plasma cannon, flamer) - 185
10 x Assault marines (sergeant with power sword) - 205
10 x Assault marines (sergeant with power sword) - 205
Elites
Furioso dreadnought (blood talons with built in melta gun and stormbolter)
Heavy support
5 x devastators (lascannon and missile launcher)
What do you think? like i said, i played a game today, only lost 8 assault marines and 2 tactical marines, and the furioso didn't even see any action (bad deployment on my part) and i wiped out his entire army
P.s none succumbed to the red thirst during this time

You probably don't need the Tactical Squad, you probably would do a bit better with some more real support (I like Baal Predators for BA lists)

I just thought to use the tac squad to camp on any objectives, you don't want the assault units tied up holding objectives as they're better at taking them, if it was a few more points i think i would definitely consider taking some baal predators

I think its pretty solid.
Most people would say give the devestators both missile launchers for a 1000pt game, but I think the game is too small to not have the lascannon onboard for the random tank or two you will see. That being said, if you could find a way to have two lascannons on the devs, it would be even better in my opinion just incase the first one misses.
I almost said drop the dread for a Baal Predator, but thats just being bias since I like them. Either is pretty scary in a small game, and the blood talons could take out a large chunk of your opponents army given the chance. The melta gives you another chance at armor if needed too, but walking him up the field might take awhile, hence him not finding much action which is why I was leaning to the Baal Predator.
I like the use of tactical squad on this list btw. I always feel they come in handy camping an objective even if they do not give you the same bang for your buck that assault troops do in blood angel armies. Some scout snipers are also another option as they can do damage across the board as they sit there, and a heavy bolter attached to them can further damage an advancing enemy.
Thats my two cents, but overall I like the list as it is.

I'm curious what army you played against and what their list looked like. You lost 10 total troops in your entire army? That sounds like either someone rolled fantastically, horribly(combination of both?), or someone built a REALLY bad list heh.

You need to keep that tactical squad. But When you expand your army to 2,000. I suggest you contact me here on dakka dakka. I can give you some right points in the right direction in order to get affordable units.

Yeah he used space marines and didn't do so good lol, mainly due to his late deep-striking termies and not organising his army too well, plus a few unlucky rolls.
And thanks Asherian, i'll keep that in mind. Out of the army lists so far i have made ( I haven't made loads ) this seems the most solid as it has a few hard hitting units, yet enough to hold the objectives, but i suppose that is the advantage of having assault marines as troops
Any other suggestions?

No offense but I am not a big fan of this list. It looks very generic and lacks any real direction. It also has a poor selection of special weapons too.
Reclusiarch (jump pack) - 155 Decent HQ choice I will give you that. A librarian with shield, blood lance or unleashed rage would be a more competitive choice and cheaper though,
Troops
10 x Tactical marines (Plasma cannon, flamer) - 185 Ok this is where things start to get weird, With your two assault squads, I am going to hazard a guess that this is a home objective holder. Why the flamer? They should be shooting long range while sitting on rear objective, and you would be better off with the bolter. Take a plasmagun/plasmacannon if you want a beefy rear objective holder. If you want a cheap one, get 5 sniper scouts with camo cloaks (90pts) that can go to ground for a 2+ save in cover.
If you are combat squadding, then you have 2 useless squads. You would need a rhino/razor, but that would not be good because you don't have enough AV saturation to merit taking one.
10 x Assault marines (sergeant with power sword) - 205
10 x Assault marines (sergeant with power sword) - 205
Ok I guess, but I would like to see some more special weapons in here. Sarge should have either some meltabombs or a powerfist incase you get tied up with walkers, and it also gives you better anti-tank (take as much as possible in 5th ed). Also want to see some special weapons in here, preferably meltaguns. If your squad has 2 meltaguns, you can shoot a transport and assault the units inside.
Elites
Furioso dreadnought (blood talons with built in melta gun and stormbolter)
Yourr only AV target in this list, and a terrible one at that. Your opponents entire anti-tank firepower is going into this. First of all, never take an assault oriented dreadnought without extra armor or a drop pod.
This thing walking across the field is a comical waste of points. Drop it, or redesign your list to fit around it.
Heavy support
5 x devastators (lascannon and missile launcher)
Very bad squad. You are paying the base points for the Dev squad, then at least max out heavy weapons. IF your assault squad had melta, then you could afford 4x Missile launchers. They can be fired anti-tank or anti-meq, or switched to frag for some decent anti-horde. If you lack the missiles, search for spare bits on Ebay or your local gaming community. I buy extra bits I need for about 99c a pop on ebay.
Dropping that dread, you could get 4x meltaguns for your assault marines (switch to pfists imo for another 20), and get 4x Missiles for your devs. Fix the tactical squads and use the extra points to get yourself a Sanguinary priest with a jump pack to roll with your assault marines. May need to trim your HQ to do this. New list would look something like this:
Librarian-with JP Shield and unleashed rage -125pts
Sanguinary Priest with JP + PW- 90pts
10x Assault Marines, 2x Melta, Powerfist- 235pts
10x Assault Marines, 2x Melta, Powerfist- 235pts
10x Tacticals, Plasmacannon, Plasmagun- 185pts
5x Devs, 4x Missile, 130pts
With this you have a strong assault elements with plenty of special weapons for tanks/mcs/hordes with a nice anchor with the tactical and devistator squad, plus your list denies the enemy of any AV targets.

Tacticals are misplaced in a deep striking army, same goes for Devs.

Yea, I must say this list is nothing special. The direction seems a bit all over the place. If you want objective campers, take scouts. Sniper Rifles with an HB/ML and that improved cover save for a few less points is definitely a better obj. camper. From there, I would try and change the Dev's out for something different. If you are DoA, the Dev's are target priority #1, so all ranged weaponry will be directed towards them. I would probably invest the points in more Assault Marines, or possibly in a Melta HG if the points allow. JP armies require only minimal finesse. My JP BA have been amazing ever since I got the hang of the DoA, but they do require a solid foundation, built with the initial army list.
I personally have been trying to fit two dreads & three DPs, in my BA at 1k points. This ensures the appearance of my two Dreads turn 1, both working together with either BF or BT's to rid tanks/horde, of course using the DP's as cover until such. Although not completely efficient/possible at 1k, definitely a recommendation when going to 1500 if you are sticking true DoA/JP.
