So, I am starting a Beastmen Marine army using Space Wolves rules, and using the heads is of Gors for Marines and Ungors for Scouts and it looks like a pretty simple conversion, I might have to file down a few horns and use some green-stuff to fill up the neckline.

But, I need some modeling advice, I was thinking of taking a Wolf Lord on a Thunder Wolf, now I don't actually think a Giant Wolf would really fit in with the Goat theme of the Space Herd, so I was looking around on the GW website and I remembered the Rhinox Mount for Ogres, so the question is: Is a Rhinox = a Thunder Wolf in size/base size?

Oh yes, I have Goatboy's blog bookmarked, he is the one who gave me the inspiration for this army...well that and my obsession with Narnia.

Those are both great ideas, but I think the Tuskgor is a little to Orkie for my tastes (but that wont stop me from using them as count as Wolfs for my Lone Wolf!), and as for the Juggernaught, I know this is going to sound stupid but the Space Herd is going to be a loyalist chapter much like that of the old Imperial Guard Beastmen, so a Juggernaught might give off the wrong image I am going for.

ehh...Im the only one to vote no so far, Never been a fan of Beastmen. Them carrying guns around just seems silly to me.

Maybe someone could put up a link to Goatboy's Space Goats so we can all see?

I had the same idea for making Plague Marines "counts as" for my CSM army. And yes, marines with beastmen parts look awesome.

Yeh they would look better with red skin following Khorne or something. Then it might not seem so silly.
