Does anyone happen to know where I could find the Allies special rule, that allows you to use any Imperial forces in the same army list. I've looked in the PDF available for Demonhunters, and Witchhunters on the GW website(I normally prefer hardcopy, but the book is out of print now, and the PDF was released after) I'm starting to think that GW removed the rule from the game. Does anyone have a reference as to where the rule is located?

Well, it's in the Witch Hunters' codex, right around the armory section...As for demonhunters, no idea.

I've looked through both the Witchhunters and Demon hunters, and can't find it anywhere in either PDF.

The Allies rules weren't included in the PDF version of the Inquisition codexes. You need the print version to use allies.

It's not included in the PDFs, you must have the actual hardback copy to use the Rules. It's sort of a dick move on GW's Part, but it's largely due to the fact that they're trying to phase out Cross-codex armies (this is a trend that happened way back with Fantasy in the 7th Edition). I cant list the rules here, for it will possibly carry consequences. However if you really want to play with allies, ask your opponent if it's ok to take a certain unit in your army. That's the best way to go about it in my book.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.

In short, you can induct IG or Marines, but not both. You cannot use non-codex chapters of marines. Marines can't be used with Grey Knights.

You can use GK as allies in non-codex chapters. Hunt the Fallen is not in effect if taking DH allies.

Sorry if that violates rules, but it's a pretty non-important part.

Yeah, they can only use Codex:SM for the Marines. Now using Daemonhunter as allies, is a different matter.

Peter: As we all know, Christmas is that mystical time of year when the ghost of Jesus rises from the grave to feast on the flesh of the living! So we all sing Christmas Carols to lull him back to sleep.
Bob: Outrageous, How dare he say such blasphemy. I've got to do something.
Man #1: Bob, there's nothing you can do.
Bob: Well, I guess I'll just have to develop a sense of humor.

There's also a bunch of restrictions on exactly what guard or marine units you can take and how many.

Not really, the standard allies slots in the marines and guard codices tell you how many you can bring. The PDF should tell you what units you can induct into which sections of a DH army.

You told him that he could "induct ig or marines". There are many restrictions on what ig or marines can be inducted - I thought it was important to mention this before he got the idea that he could induct whatever he wanted.

I think that's gone far enough. The full rules for allies are, as was stated originally, in the relevant books.
