What Space Marine kits come with the Master Crafted Bolter?

Im not completely sure, but I think MC weapons are either modelled by you, or counts-as..

Nothing really denotes MC weapons except maybe looking shinier or fancier. Perhaps adding a scope can help since it gives better aim I suppose

master Crafted just means the wargear is more decorated than the average version. This could be as simple as a different paintjob (perhaps an all-gold bolter) to something as an elaborate conversion (bolter decked out with etchings and extra additions, such as laser sights, a leather strap, and special ammunition drum).

There are more ornate versions of the weapons available on upgrade sprues (I remember a bolter with etchings on it in one of the Command Sprues) but strictly speaking there are no official models. Just denote to your opponent who have MC weapons and it should be fine. As far as the fluff definition goes, MC weapons could simply be extremely well made, but still superficially resemble other weapons of the same type.

If your saying you've seen a kit that has it. Its prolly the command squad kit. The one that has the champion and apothecary. There is a bolter in it that is all fancy looking and essentially master crafted.

Its in the captain kit..

There's a difference between master crafted and ornate. BUT the difference is internal and thus cannot really be displayed on a model.

Well the reason I asked is I've seen one on http://www.bitsandkits.co.uk/ and they have one, and I just figured I would order the kit that had it in there. The bolter just looks ornate and I like it. Either way I figure Ill end up ordering from that site but I just am not sure about shipping so it would also be good to know alternative options for obtaining it.

The above bolter comes in the command squad kit. You get one like it.

Alternatively, you can slap on a purity seal, a telescopic sight, and paint it gold to call it master crafted.

The Black Templar upgrade sprue had bolters with chains on them that look pretty sweet. You'd probably want to file off the templar crosses, though.

The bolters that come with the Deathwatch kit look nifty, too.

Eh, I'd probably go with the Rhino. Or a razorback, which can also be used for a rhino since you shouldn't glue on the top hatch.

I rarely use a command squad.

depends on whether you like to game or convert. The Command Squad and Space Marine Commander Boxsets have alot of extra bitz that will make any converter squeel in joy. I personally managed to get two command squads, a Chaplain and a Librarian from the contents of just the Command Squad Sprue.

I like to convert thats why I want all those kits
