I basically wanted to go with the best deathstar I could come up with. Lords join the TWC and can split off as needed to deal with threats. Grey Hunters control objectives if needed and the razorbacks add some extra long range firepower. Long Fangs light up the field with a ton of shots. Just wondering if there was a way to build a better deathstar for SWs? This way seems pretty effective as I have a hard on for TWC and wanted to get some input before I start building my TWC models.

Not an expert on this kind of army. I do think you need 6 long fangs to take 5 heavy weapons though, one squad member always has to be the squad leader.

You are correct sir. 1-5 long fangs 1 squad leader.

You've pretty much devised a pretty badass Death Star here; however, I will throw out a cautionary word...be very generous with the spacing and use of cover for the unit because I guarantee 2000 points of shooting will be coming their way.
Persoanlly, I would rather run those lords in a pack of Fenrisian Wolves with the Thunderwolves as back up. This way, not all of your eggs are in one basket and you can re-roll failed leadership if the Lords and puppies run.
Other than that, I think you've made a picture perfect list...minus the spam of course but that's just opinion of mine.

I would drop one Wolf Lord and add a Thunderwolf to the unit, then spend the extra points on more Razorbacks for your Long Fangs, and possibly another scoring unit because I think 4 is not enough for Razorspam.
Just a thought.

Well he already has 100 points left over...if he drops the Fenrisians from his lords that leaves 160 points, enough for 2 more Razorbacks...now we're up to 6 which is enough in my eyes...persoanlly I would arm those two with Twin Assault Cannons and run them as a screen for the Thunderwolves saving them from at least 1-2 turns of shooting. And hell if they survive, no one wants to deal with 2 twin linked ac's in their grill.
Personaly, I think Razorback spam is overrated and not everyone needs to own 9 Razorbacks to win or even play Space Wolves.
Just my opinion.

I 100% agree with this statement. I like a few Razors for extra fire support and mobility for my Long Fangs (I think Long Fangs are the best unit in the game to take Razors for, so having a few is worth it), but I think spamming them (like spamming anything) is an unimaginitive tactic that is really overrated these days. It's brainless and anyone can win with it unless their opponent is good. It's the easy button, and it's generally one I refuse to hit.

Sorry, I forgot to add the squad leader to the Long Fang squads.
To be honest. I could mess with some of the points and combine into 2 rhinos with large squads of grey hunters with some extra gear. I didnt really want to spam them, but the extra long range str 9 shots were good for popping armor.
Also I planned on the Lords joining up with the TWC. Since the Fenrisian Wolves are wargear the lords and the TWC can combine correct? I saw them as 6 extra wounds before any Lords or TWC had to take damage.

You can join the Lords to the Thunderwolves as you've proposed; however, I prefer running the Lords with an actual pack of Fenrisians for a couple of reasons:
1) They work better for ablative wounds as losing one of them is only 8 points. Also, they can take more ID wounds.
2) With Thunderwolves following nearby you are given the ability to screen the second Death Star while allowing the Lords to re-roll leadership.
That's just how I like to run them in my own way...it gives many targets for my opponent to deal with. Additionally, I take Canis for his Saga of the Wolfkin so the horde of 15 dogs accompanying my Lords all strike at Initiative 5...it gives many players pause because they have to deal with 18 models that are striking at I 5 with an obscene number of attacks or 4 Thunderwolves that put out about 1/2 the number of attacks on the charge.

Sorry for the newb question, but how does it allow them to reroll failed leadership? Sorry im at work atm and dont have my codex with me.
Im going to make a second list, using the 2 deathstars roughly in the style you have suggested. It makes ALOT of sense, mostly because in my group there are a few vindis rolling around. I will play test both lists for sure.
I also wanted to say thanks for all the input and ideas!

Any unit of Fenrisian Wolves within 12" of Thunderwolves may re-roll failed leadership due to the Wolfkin Rule under the Thunderwolves.
Not really a noob question, no one really pays attention to that little gem of a rule.
