(yeah, this may be a stupid question). What unit of currency does Forgeworld use, and where is a website where I can convert it to USD?

Chuckle. As a Brit it's bad enough seeing £350 on some of the items. Be a while before I can afford to splurge at FW.

GBP is hardly obscure. When you consider that America has only 8% of the world population, it could be counted as "obscure", too.

I knew it was either Pounds or Euros, but I couldn't remember the symbol for some reason.

I was teasing. The Pound is one of the leading currencies in the world.

I get sad every time I look at the prices. For some reason I really want a thunderhawk. At least I can sometimes afford most of the regular stuff.

One pound is worth approximately 1.6 US or Australian dollars. So unless they're absolutely reaming you on the exchange rate, it should be closer to $560.

Not really. Looking at the flag next to his name told me that he was american, thus saying that america could be counted as obscure was intended to illustrate to him that america wasn't the centre of the world, as most americans seem to think.

But a plenty of English and non English speaking nations use the £ sign as well.

America is not the center of the world, in fact, I'm a bit disappointed in America. (has NOTHING to do with Obama. The only real negative feeling I have towards him involve NASA budget cuts.)

But I want a Dark Eldar Raven, and unfortunately they are 75 dollars. And they aren't even that big. Resin can't cost THAT much to produce. And I just ordered a TAU battleforce for that same price (I love amazon.com. I also got AOBR for 60 bucks.)
